Old vineyards of Garnacha grapes, the most traditional red variety in Spain, the third most planted grape in the world.
Old vineyards of red garnacha planted in the Cebreros-Sierra de Gredos in soils very poor in organic matter, granitic sandy soils, loose, with numerous outcrops of slate, planted at more than 800-1000 meters altitude.
Vinification: 100% fermentation at low temperature in concrete tanks without maceration, direct pressing and vatting without contact with the skins, white red grape must.
Bottled:April 2024.
Production: 30,000 bottles of burgundy. 630 magnum bottles.
Tasting notes: Very pale pink color with amber pink reflections, bright, clean, transparent, very particular.
Elegant, complex and fresh aroma, characteristic varietal notes of red fruits, strawberry, cherry, mixed with jasmine, mint and balsamic.
Light and agile in the mouth, but very fresh, complex, persistent, round and pleasant with an aftertaste also aromatic and perfumed, with a very particular bitter tone. Suitable to consume as an aperitif and to accompany dishes such as red tuna, salmon, rice, pasta, cheeses, at about 8 °C of temperature. A sophisticated, dynamic wine for a public looking for something different.
