SOTOMANRIQUE LA CRUZ VERDE
Variety: Garnacha 100%.
Zone: Paraie de Villalba wine. Old vineyards of Cebreros-Sierra de Gredos.
Type of wine: Crianza red wine.
Vineyard: Vineyards at 850 m above sea level, surrounded by pine forest and close to the Arroyo Becedas, which causes lower temperatures, granitic limey soil, with good water retention, vines in bush and vigorous.
Vinification: Spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in a concrete tank, 15% whole vat, with temperatures between 18-26 °C. Once finished, the wine was devatted to stainless steel and then transferred to a 100 hl vat of Mastro Bottaio cooperage where the wine rests for 14 months and undergoes malolactic fermentation. in November the wine is racked and filtered only once.
Tasting notes: Cherry color with medium-low layer very bright and clear. floral notes stand out, both on the nose and palate, straight and long wine, elegance and freshness in perfect balance serving temperature 12-14°C.
